Towards Modern Self Government - Toplica 2002
Center for Development of Serbia and Toplica Center for Democracy and Human Rights realized, in period from July 1st to October 31st 2002, the project "Local Authorities Capacity Building - Toplica County 2002". Project participants (32) were representatives of local self-governments from all of 4 municipalities of Toplica County (Prokuplje, Blace, Zitoradja and Kursumlija), who went through training in specific skills important for improvement of their work and enhancement of local administration services level.
Training covered following topics:
- Modern Local Self - Government
- Strategic Planning in local self government
- Human Resource Management in local self government
- Communication for Local Government
- Team Work as a Tool for Efficient Governance
- Conflicts and Negotiations
- Project Proposal
- Writing
Lecturers were: Miroslav Prokopijevic, PhD (Institute for European Studies), Zoran Skopljak (Center for Development of Serbia), Dragan Dobrasinovic (Toplica center for Democracy and human Rights), Milorad Bjeletic (Belgrade Open School), Lazar Maricevic (Center for Development of Serbia), Galjina Ognjanov (Faculty of Economics), Slobodan Markovic (Institute for European Studies), Marija Gajic (MOST), Marija Krivacic (MOST), Biljana Dakic (Pax Christi Netherlands).
